Michael was born in rural New Kent Country Virginia and lived a life connected to the natural earth from a young age. This connection carried over into his adult life; Adventure and a deep desire to live as closely as possible with nature called him to leave Virginia in 2014. Michael began his journey in Western Colorado until he was called to the Big Island of Hawaii where he spent a very important five years of his life.

 

Following a recent desire in 2019 to explore and photograph the American West, Michael  relocated to Taos New Mexico. He lives off-grid in foothills of Latir Mountain on 3 acres in northern Taos County, close to the Colorado boarder and is developing a sustainable sanctuary on the land.
